An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy and K9-Sam attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling east bound on Highway 133 in the Township of Pulaski Sunday just after midnight. The suspect vehicle attempted to elude deputies at speeds over 100mph. Later, the vehicle came to a stop near East Main and South 8th Street in the Village of Avoca. As a result, 20 year old Gabriel Nalepinski of Avoca was arrested and charged with Vehicle Operator Fleeing and Eluding an Officer, and Possession of THC. Nalepinski was booked at the Iowa County Jail where he remains in custody.
