New UW-La Crosse Chancellor

The search is over at UW-La Crosse. On Wednesday, the Universities of Wisconsin announced that Dr. James Beeby, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Keene State College in New Hampshire, will be UW-La Crosse’s next chancellor. Dr. Beeby assumes the role beginning July 1. He was one of three finalists named in the search, which began in August after the prior chancellor Joe Gow announced he was stepping down. In late December, Gow was terminated for producing and appearing in online pornography.
