No injuries were reported following a rollover crash involving a semi-tanker on Monday in Grant County. Just before noon, 42 year old Chad Gehrke of Lancaster was driving a semi with a tanker trailer south on Highway 61 in South Lancaster Township. Gehrke began turning east on Highway 81 when the trailer broke free from the tractor and rolled over into a ditch. Approximately 2000 gallons of liquid agricultural feed spilled from the tank. The tractor and tanker are owned by Cobb Shipping Service of Rewey. The tanker trailer had heavy damage and the tractor had minor damage. Emergency crews spent about 3 hours cleaning up the spill. Assisting at the scene was the Lancaster Fire department, Lancaster EMS, the Grant County Highway Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
