Lafayette County Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on County Highway M in Wiota Friday around 3pm. An unknown driver was operating a vehicle northbound on County Highway M, when the driver failed to negotiate the curve, lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and entered the ditch, causing the vehicle to roll over and come to rest striking a tree. There were unknown injuries since the driver fled the scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The Woodford Fire Department and Woodford First Response assisted to the scene. Argyle EMS was paged and later disregarded because no patient was identified.
