Sony Music Publishing and Domain Capital Group have acquired a portion of Miranda Lambert’s song catalog, according to details shared in a recent industry announcement. The deal covers Lambert’s songwriter share of select works spanning her career, including songs released as a solo artist and through collaborations.
Under the agreement, Sony Music Publishing will handle global administration of the catalog, while Domain Capital Group joins the transaction as a financial partner. The catalog includes titles that have generated long-term value through radio play, streaming, and licensing.
The acquisition reflects the ongoing interest in established song catalogs, particularly those tied to artists with sustained commercial success. Lambert continues to record, tour, and write new material, and the deal does not affect her future creative output.
