Wisconsin and other Midwest states are set to receive more than $15 million in disaster relief through FEMA’s Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Grant programs. In Wisconsin, $1.3 million will reimburse the state’s health care facilities for grant management and steps taken to limit the spread of COVID-19. The money is in addition to $41 million recently approved for pandemic recovery. The new funding also includes more than $12 million in FEMA Public Assistance awards across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.
