Governor Tony Evers stopped in Westby on Wednesday as part of his statewide Dairy Month celebration. Evers toured Westby Cooperative Creamery and met with employees, highlighting Wisconsin’s strength in the dairy industry and thanking the farmers and workers who help make it a cornerstone of the state’s economy. During his administration, Evers pointed to efforts to support the industry, including the Dairy Processor Grant Program, which helps dairy processors make improvements and expand. With rising gas prices and tariffs, Evers said he will continue working to assist Wisconsin farmers.
