One arrested for OWI following traffic stop in Darlington

Early Sunday morning a Lafayette County deputy conducted a traffic stop in Darlington, which resulted in 44-year-old Juan A. Artica-Ramos of Darlington being arrested for Operating while Intoxicated – First Offense and Possession of an Open Intoxicant in a Motor Vehicle. He was also arrested for Operating without a Valid License – 3rd Offense and Resisting/Refusing to Stop. Juan was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released to a responsible party.
