No injuries in Dubuque County fire

Late Sunday evening, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office along with Key West Fire, East Dubuque Fire, Asbury Fire, Bernard Fire, and La Motte Fire responded to an address on Route 52 S for the report of a structure fire. Upon arrival Deputies observed a large steel sided structure on fire. A family member of the property owner received a call from a passerby who saw smoke coming from the structure. The family member then called Dispatch to report the fire. The structure and contents are considered a total loss. The assessed value of the structure is $98,200.00. Total value of the contents inside of the structure is currently unknown. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time, but does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
